MediaCityUK is celebrating the success of Gok Wan’s latest TV show ‘GOK LIVE: STRIPPING FOR SUMMER’, which was broadcast live from the MediaCityUK waterside piazza for three consecutive Tuesdays in July, bringing thousands of people down to the area to watch the show.
The three hour-long programmes made by Remarkable Television, an Endemol company for Channel4, saw Gok Wan do what he does best and help women solve their dressing dilemmas for the summer holiday season. The Peel Media events and operations team looked after the external set up, whilst dock10 managed the productions by utilising the site-wide connectivity and studio galleries, which link directly to the piazza.

Gok Live: Stripping for summer was commissioned by Channel 4 Head of Features, Gill Wilson, and was produced by Remarkable Television, an Endemol company. The series was executive produced by Kitty Walshe and series produced by Catherine Mann.
