Vogue Fashion’s Night Out, a one-night-only shopping event has announced that it will be moving into Manchester for the first time this October. More than 100 shops, bars and restaurants have signed up and will be open into the night. Over the next week Manchester Social 101 will be providing a sneak peek into the various activities that you will be able to get involved in throughout the night!

Highlights include personalised fashion illustrations by Clym Evernden for customers at Hugo Boss; a ‘British Warm’ party at Crombie, where guests will be styled and photographed in the famed Crombie Coat; a live photo shoot in the store window of H&M; a high street A/W fashion show within Manchester Arndale.

There will also be an emerald and diamond necklace in Mappin and Webb worth £250,000, a prize draw to win a piece worth £1000; a Prosecco bar at M&S; a live band at Mulberry; clutch bag monogramming at Whistles; a meet and greet with Nicky Clarke at his Manchester salon and hair styling by Trevor Sorbie at Reiss; as well as a showcase of the best of Manchester’s aspiring fashion designers from Manchester’s universities.

Along with Mulberry and Nicky Clarke other exclusive stores, salons and restaurants on The Avenue taking part include Emporio Armani, Flannels, Oliver Sweeney, Ted Baker Pashion, jeweller Phillip Stoner, boutique florist David Wayman, restaurants Australasia and newest addition, Manchester House.

Also don’t miss ‘Vogue Eats’ a special pop up on King street during the night which will be feeding hungry shoppers. There are 6 pop ups confirmed so far: Hotel Chocolat and Hey Little Cupcake will be there for shoppers with a sweet tooth, The Fresh Lemonade Company will be quenching thirsts, Margo and Rita will be serving up Mexican food, Carluccio’s will be offering Italian food, and Streatza will be selling pizzas.

There are plenty of other big names appearing as part of Fashion’s Night Out too – but they have to stay secret for now!

As well special offers, promotions and product launches, there’ll also be champagne, canapes, in-store DJs, pampering stations and spa treatments too.
