Manchester International Festival presents two very special evenings with Goldfrapp, an exclusive preview of their forthcoming album.
Goldfrapp release their long-awaited sixth studio album in late summer 2013; these shows offer an opportunity to hear the new album live for the very first time, accompanied by the Royal Northern College of Music’s string orchestra.
Formed in 1999, Goldfrapp have captivated audiences and critics alike with a string of inventive multi-platinum releases that explore the furthest reaches of synthpop, folk and electronica – all demonstrating an instinctive grasp of what makes the perfect pop song. Along the way Goldfrapp have also earned a reputation for their spectacular and compelling live shows making these two shows for MIF13 unmissable.
