La Pizzeria Ristorante opens its doors to the public on Friday 9 August, bringing an Italian style pizzeria to Manchester’s Northern Quarter (previously known as little Italy) for a limited time only.
The beauty of La Pizzeria Ristorante lies in its simple menu and pricing – for just £10, evening diners can enjoy a starter, pizza, salad, dessert and drink. Lighter set menus for lunch are priced at just £4 for a pizza, salad and drink and children’s meals with a smaller pizza, dessert and drink are only £3.50.
Included in a set price of just £10 for dinner will be a choice of a soft drink, Italian beer or a glass of wine. All wines have been chosen to complement the pizzas on the menu and are the perfect finishing touch to your meal – simple.
Start with artisan breads, sundried tomatoes and mozzarella with olive oil and balsamic vinegar before pondering which delicious pizza to choose. The pizza is served with a choice of two side salads – peppery rocket and parmesan or a light frisee leaf with baby pea shoots for a spring-fresh option. For dessert, there is delicious, home-made Italian inspired ice creams made locally in the Northern Quarter.
Set in stylish, traditional Italian surroundings, the pizzeria is tipped to be the summer hit in the Northern Quarter.
Tucked away on the first floor of well-established NQ restaurant, The Market Restaurant, La Pizzeria Ristorante, will be a fresh approach to dining in Manchester open until 7th September.
The general manager of La Pizzeria Ristorante, said: “We’re very excited to open our door to our special trial eaterie. We know that our pizzas will be a massive hit due to their great flavours and fantastic quality bases. There’s no other offering like this in the Northern Quarter and we’re hoping it will be a great success.”
La Pizzeria Ristorante takes its inspiration from traditional Italian pizzerias with a relaxed environment, delicious food and a quick and easy meal solution.
The pizzas offer a choice of two bases – one perfectly thin and crisp, the other, a deep crust that is deliciously light and fluffy on the inside while crisp on the outside. The pizzas all have delicious Italian inspired toppings including creamy mozzarella, spicy pepperoni and Mediterranean vegetables.

La Pizzeria Ristorante is open Monday to Saturday from 12 noon and closes at 9.30pm daily (closed Sunday).
