The first national UK event dedicated to celebrating naturally kinky curly hair textures in the UK. Founded by Diane Hall (Author of How I Grew it Long Naturally & 65 Tips to Healthy Hair Growth), and Vinna Best (Founder of Officially Natural), this 6 day event will be held in 6 cities from 15 – 20 July 2013; in Leeds, Manchester, Nottingham, Bristol, Birmingham and London.
In recent years there has been a surge in women returning back to natural, little girls loving their tresses, and men noticing that curly hair is attractive too! The social web has played a significant role is uniting such women worldwide, including the creation of hair care blogs, how-to YouTube videos, posting hairstyle photos on Instagram, and natural hair debates on Facebook and Twitter.
Natural Hair Week UK 2013 aims to bring together the experts, brands, salon owners and bloggers to produce an exciting natural synergy of entertainment, education and encouragement. The event offers the chance to mingle with the professional, established and the emerging in the natural hair industry – in a series of exciting sessions, exhibitions, hair demonstrations and networking receptions
A competition to find the best Natural Hair Salon will be run by NoScrunchie who is the official competition sponsor (www.naturalhairweek.com/awards to enter). The salon with the highest reviews will be the winner of Natural Salon Awards with winner being announced at the finale of Natural Hair Week UK, London on Saturday 20th July 2013
