When it comes to date nights in the city, Gusto is right up there in my top venues in Manchester. Its hearty food, stunning interiors and great staff provide the perfect atmosphere for a lovely evening.

To add to the already varied menu and to celebrate the arrival of the autumn and winter season, Gusto has introduced new items to its new à la carte menu.

These dishes include; Spaghetti pesto with green beans, sun-dried tomatoes and rocket is sure to deliver a taste of the Mediterranean in the winter months and oven-baked fillet of cod wrapped in Tuscan ham with spiced peppercorn lentils will appeal to seafood lovers.  Lighter dishes are also on the menu, such as roasted butternut squash and chickpea salad with pumpkin seeds and pomegranate alongside Gusto favourites including Caesar salad and Romesco chicken salad.  Diners wishing to indulge in a winter warmer, will find comfort in the new lamb cacciatore with red wine, pancetta and tomato served with toasted artisan bread.

Dining at Gusto is an unmissable weekend treat with a new two-course menu served all day Sunday for £15.95.   Choose from rustic starters including chicken liver pâté and creamed cauliflower soup and a selection of refined main courses such as fillet of pork saltimbocca, mushroom risotto with truffle oil and Grana Padano.  Traditional Gusto favourites remain, including award winning pizzas freshly prepared in-house, deli boards, pasta, meat and seafood dishes as well as a range of liqueur coffees, desserts, fine wines and bespoke cocktails to complete your visit.
