The Midland Hotel in Manchester is celebrating a prestigious national accolade having achieved three AA Rosettes for its restaurant, The French by Simon Rogan.
The AA awards recognises and rewards the excellent services provided by the UK’s best hotel and restaurants, and with three AA Rosettes, the highest number a restaurant open less than six months can achieve, The French has undoubtedly one of the best food offerings in the city.
In what has been a great year for the respected Manchester property, The French has also been awarded the impressive accolade of Best New Entry in the Waitrose Good Food Guide 2014, going straight in at 12th in the guide’s Top 50 restaurant listing.
Mike Magrane, General Manager at The Midland said: “We’re delighted The French has been awarded three AA Rosettes. This is a fantastic accolade and testament to the team’s hard work over the last few months. Manchester is going from strength to strength in terms of its food offering with The French leading the way and this highlights that visitors do not have to go to London to experience the very best of British cuisine.”
