TOP comedian Jim Jefferies is returning to Manchester for his most controversial show yet.
Hailed by HBO as “one of the funniest comedians on the planet”, Manchester born and bred Jim will be playing three exclusive shows in the UK this summer finishing at the Apollo on August 2.
Q Magazine described him as “Britain’s most offensive comedian” he is now one of the biggest names in comedy around the globe.
With seven Edinburgh Fringe sell-out shows, numerous TV appearances, two HBO hour comedy special, two series of his own FX Sitcom ‘Legit’ plus phenomenal critical acclaim, Jim will perform his new show ‘Day Streaming’ for the first time on these shores after a successful a Australian run earlier this year.
Never afraid to court controversy, and not big on political correctness, Jefferies’ forthright and opinionated shows have sometimes divided audiences, and even led to a violent out-burst at the Manchester Comedy Store (now seen by millions of people on the internet).
But no one ever said being a comedian was easy, even if Jefferies makes it look that way.
In Day Streaming Jim will be covering a bunch of topics from the recent trial of Oscar Pistorius, with him acting out the night in question, also with Jim now living in the States audiences will hear an extended version of what he thinks of their gun laws and their constitution (which people may have heard on episode 12 of season two of Legit).
On top of that viewers will also get to hear Jims new stances on idiots, the obscene and recent conquests and failures. This is always a show not to be missed.
