This week we welcomed the Manchester Bierkeller to The Printworks, the newest in a group that has venues in Blackpool, Liverpool and Leeds.
The complex houses a Sports Bar and the authentic Bierkeller experience, with a vast array of German beers (and a host of others from around the world) on draught or bottled for you to try, whether you’d rather a small taster or a full stein.
With table top kegs, Oompah bands, traditional Bavarian dress and offers galore, if you like beer, this could be the place for you!
Opening night kicked off with live music, champagne to get the party started and canapé versions of the menu for people to sample. Salty pretzels, mini burgers and wurst were on offer for people to nibble, a hint at the goodies that will be on offer daily.
It was soon in full swing, fit to bursting, with beer fans filling their steins, in all four bars under one roof. With the Oopmah band getting feet stomping, it looks like it’s going to be a great addition to the Printworks.
The Bierkeller is open now, with free entry this Saturday. For more information, see thebierkeller.com or visit their Facebook page.
The event was attended and reviewed by Manchester Social 101’s guest contributor: Charlie Hooson-Sykes who also writes for Vintage Manchester, 4 Manchester Women and Crafty Magazine.
