On Thursday 10th October, The Avenue, Spinningfields’ luxury retail quarter, will become the stage for the biggest fashion event of the year, Vogue Fashion’s Night Out. Coming to Manchester for the first time, the event will see the city’s retailers open late into the night, offering exclusive trend parties, designer personal appearances, celebrity appearances and much more.

Mulberry and Emporio Armani will be hosting extravagant events with the upmost opulence and flair. For those who wish to be truly spoilt, the Mulberry store will be greeting guests with champagne, canapés and Essie manicures. In Spinningfields Square, Emporio Armani will be hosting a mystery celebrity DJ for lucky guests, transforming the lavish flagship store into the Fashion’s Night Out ultimate hotspot. Iconic Vogue remains at the very heart of the evening with editors making appearances at both Mulberry and Emporio Armani.

Famed for his vibrant prints and intricate embellishments, Manchester-born womenswear designer Matthew Williamson will be appearing in Flannels. He will be signing the trademark Vogue T-shirts and introducing his new AW13 collection. The store will be buzzing with exclusive giveaways, pampering treats and a mellow DJ set.

Nicky Clarke salon will be hosting a stylish Champagne reception, presented by hairdressing icon Nicky Clarke himself. Nicky’s own styling experts will be giving live demonstrations, drawing inspiration from timeless icons of the golden age of Hollywood. The master of the blow-dry, Nicky Clarke will be at hand to answer any personal hair related questions guests may have.

For those looking to make an indulgent purchase, men’s shoe brand Oliver Sweeney will be hosting their famous shoe tattooing service in addition to a selection of unmissable incentives. All tattoos are created by hand using a genuine tattoo gun and ink, to create a unique, indelible mark.

All of the stores on The Avenue will be raising the bar with an array of shopping events, which will unfold throughout the evening. The Avenue itself will be glowing with fashionable fixtures including a red carpet and photographer to create the VIP experience for all of its guests.

 

In addition to this, guests who are feeling lucky can pop a £1 coin into the Vogue Fashion’s Night Out book dispenser which not only will give a beautiful book, but each will be sealed with a prize redeemable either on The Avenue or across the Spinningfields estate. Alternatively, you can celebrate fashion icons with The Alchemist, as they will be hosting a Vogue lock-in party where guests can let their hair down with 2-4-1 cocktails in the striking bar setting.
