June 12th – Wine tasting in the Ballroom

This month’s tasting evening will be all about wine… There will be plenty of wine samples, cocktails and themed canapés complete with a wine expert to share their knowledge on a selection of fine wines.

Thursday – Shakedown

The new regular Thursday night addition to Black Dog NQ sees Underdog resident DJ Da Funk take over the decks with his blend of hip-hop, funk and dubstep sounds.

Shakedown runs weekly from 10pm – 4am and entry is free before 11pm.

Friday – WhoSaidWhat?

Resident DJ Stuart Richards hosts WhoSaidWhat? every Friday at Black Dog NQ between 10pm and 4am. WhoSaidWhat? offers a night packed full of disco, funk and house with a few breaks along the way and even some hip hop and reggae to mix the night up a little.

The event runs until 4am and entry is free before 11.

Saturday – Neil Smallridge

Every Saturday Neil Smallridge embraces eclecticism as he blends and bends the genres, smoothly flowing between indie disco, hip hop and house until 5am, with queues around the block every week.

June 5th – Triangular Pres. The Summer Fiesta with Mike Skinner (DJ Set) & Secret Guest
On Wednesday 5th June Underdog be hosting a huge summer fiesta with an appearance by former front man of The Streets, Mike Skinner. Skinner will be hitting the decks for a DJ set supported by a special surprise guest. Plus there will also be sets from Manchester’s favorite club nights Gold Teeth, Chow Down, and Shy & Brazen.

Friday 7th June – Sabotage 012 & Macky Gee, Nu Elementz and Dialogue

Coming to Underdog on Friday 7th June will be a huge night for drum’n’bass fans as Sabotage takes over. Bringing UK bass heavyweights Macky Gee, Nu Elementz and Dialogue, plus support DJs to the venue, the night looks set to blow the roof off as it makes some serious noise in Manchester.

Sabotage 012 will run from 10pm – 4am. Tickets are available here.

Saturday 8th June – Parklife Official Afterparty – Hosted by Fresh Fridays with Special Guest Festival Headliners & So Fresh DJs

The party certainly won’t stop as the first day of Parklife finishes on Saturday 8th June. Underdog will be hosting one of the official afterparties, presented by Fresh Fridays with a special guest appearance from festival headliners and So Fresh DJs, bringing the freshest old school hip-hop and R&B.

The Fresh Fridays Afterparty will run from 10pm – 4am. Earlybird tickets are now sold out but Advance tickets are still available at £7 from here.

Sunday 9th June – Parklife Official Afterparty – Hosted by Rum & Bass with Toyboy & Robin plus special guest festival headliners

On Sunday 9th June, as Parklife Festival comes to an end, the party will continue at Underdog as Rum & Bass host a night of bass, house, disco and future. The night will see the likes of popular duo Toy & Robin plus a special guest from the festival as well as resident Rum & Bass DJs taking over to shake things up.

Rum & Bass’ Afterparty will run from 10pm – 4pm. Earlybird tickets have now sold out, advance tickets are still available at £6 here.

Friday 14th June – Paid In Full with resident, DJ Da Funk

This regular Friday night addition to Underdog sees Black Dog Ballroom resident DJ Da Funk take over the decks with his blend of hip-hop, funk and dubstep sounds.

Paid In Full run from 10pm – 4am and entry is £2 on the door.

Friday 21st June – Disco Electronica with OD Musique, Rekreation & more

Disco Electronica is the theme of the night at Underdog on Friday 21st June. Classic house and techno sounds will be brought to the venue thanks to OD Musique, while Rekreation and more maintaining the theme for what is set to be an electrifying night.

Tickets for the night are available here. The night will run from 10pm – 4am.

Friday 28th June – FRANK with Alex Arnout, Tussle DJs and residents

Hot Creations’ Alex Arnout will be leading the way for the next FRANK at Underdog on Friday 28th June. Joined by Tussle DJs as well as residents Stevie Mulgrave and Sian Bennett and more, this will be the brand’s third outing but certainly not a quiet one despite its infancy as this new night goes from strength to strength.

The event will run from 10pm to 4am and tickets for this event are available here for £5.

Karaoke

The bespoke karaoke booth at Black Dog Ballroom NWS holds up to twelve people and is available for all those who want to sing their heart out for an hour or two, or for guests booking the private members ballroom.

Football

As things get interesting at the top of the table, keep up with the twists and turns of the football season at Black Dog Ballroom on New Wakefield Street. All England World Cup Qualifiers, Premier League and Champions League football matches shown on Sky Sports and ESPN will be shown live on our new big screen projector on the roof terrace.

Drinks offers include £3 cocktails, £2 bottles of Tuborg, £2 bottles of K2, and £3.20 bottles of Fresca.

Saturday – Patterns

Manchester stalwart and WHP resident Krysko takes to the decks over the bowling alleys every Saturday at Dog Bowl, playing the finest Soul, Disco and House anthems supported by Henry Bird (Dry Hump).

Patterns runs weekly from 11pm-4am and entry is free.
