In another first for Spinningfields, this Friday sees the launch of Spinningfields’ Christmas Market, which will see food producers and arts and craft artisans set up stall in Crown Square every Friday, Saturday and Sunday in the run-up to Christmas.
With over 82 stall holders signed up, some coming to Manchester for the first time, each weekend will see a different rotation of high-end operators bringing an infusion of culture from the Continent to Spinningfields, providing shoppers with plenty of reason to return time and time again.
Stall holders exclusive to Spinningfields include Terra Gourmet, Cranston’s Fine Ales, Little Trove, Mint Vintage, Younique, Chorlton Cheese and Ben Sedman Photography to name but a few.
Manchester Street Food collective Guerrilla Eats is also set to take part, featuring different street food traders each week, helping make Spinningfields’ Christmas Market a must visit for all Manchester foodies.
At this Friday’s launch, the ‘Undercover Manchester’ band are performing from 6-8pm, to put people in the festive mood while they browse the different stalls.
Join in the festive fun, every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, at Spinningfields’ Christmas Market 11am-8pm.
Spinningfields’ Christmas Market is part of Snow Season, which encapsulates a whole line-up of festive activity planned across the estate this winter. Along with hosting the only ice rink in the city centre, Spinningfields is awash with Christmas activity, with late night shopping on The Avenue, letters to the North Pole, a helter skelter, The Curious TeePee and much, much, more.
