TO mark Father’s Day, Bowmore, Islay’s first Single Malt Whisky, is hosting an intimate evening of Smoke and Oysters at the exclusive Fisherman’s Retreat on Thursday June 19.
Guests will enjoy a night which captures the iconic taste of Islay whisky, famous for its characteristic smokiness, with oyster and whisky pairing, delicious canapés and the chance to turn their hand to oyster shucking themselves with a master class courtesy of seafood connoisseurs, The Oyster Boys.
Cocktails which draw out the wispy smoke, bourbon vanilla and fresh lime notes of Bowmore Small Batch will be served on arrival, with the tasting experience culminating in their unique signature serve, the ‘Bowmore Oyster Luge’.
Each guest will receive a gift bag containing exclusive Small Batch and Darkest infused chocolates on departure.

Whisky cocktails and canapés on arrival
Oyster shucking master class and sampling with The Oyster Boys
A Bowmore molecular bubble, served in an oyster shell
Guided whisky tasting with a Bowmore ambassador
