Wednesday – Higher Ground
Join resident DJ Stu Richards and cohort Joshua Goddard as they blast out only the greatest motown, ska, rock n roll, soul, mod and 60′s pop from 11pm every Wednesday. Get down!
Higher Ground runs from 11pm – 4am – Free entry
Thursday – Shakedown
Thursday night at Black Dog NQ sees Underdog resident DJ Da Funk take over the decks with his blend of hip-hop, funk and dubstep sounds.
Shakedown runs weekly from 11pm – 4am and entry is free.
Friday – WhoSaidWhat?
Resident DJ Stuart Richards hosts WhoSaidWhat? every Friday at Black Dog NQ between 10pm and 4am. WhoSaidWhat? offers a night packed full of disco, funk and house with a few breaks along the way and even some hip hop and reggae to mix the night up a little.
WhoSaidWhat? runs weekly until 4am and entry is free before 11pm.
Saturday –DJ Da Funk
Every Saturday Black Dog Ballroom is overtaken by an eclectic mix of genres, smoothly flowing between dubstep, hip hop and house until 4am.
The event runs weekly until 4am and entry is free before 11pm.

Friday 8th August – Spread Love with Hewan Clarke (Hacienda)
The original Hacienda resident spans his extensive collection of soulful jazzy, funky beats continuing his monthly residency at underdog.
Advance tickets are £3, £4 on the door.
Friday 29th August – Rediscover: Late Night Tuff Guy
Aussie disco maestro Late Nite Tuff Guy lands at Underdog for a very rare UK date, direct from his residency at Glitterbox, Ibiza. Expect only the most credible of disco re-edits and ‘funky, funky beats’. Joined by Rediscover residents, Cut Motion Cassette.

High Jinx resident Stuart Richards brings his trademark style to the bar every Thursday from 11pm. Offering a night packed full of disco, funk and house and even some hip hop and reggae, Stu always feels at home behind the decks!
Friday – DJ Da Funk
Our Resident Black Dog Ballroom DJ D Funk takes over the decks in the bar every Friday night with his blend of hip-hop, funk and dubstep sounds. It’s a challenge to keep those feet still!
Saturday – High Jinx
Rebel Music’s Jacob Coid supplies an unpredictable mix of his left-of-the-centre collection, featuring Dylan to Dre, the Strokes to Snoop Dogg, Bowie to the Beastie Boys and anything in between, the only sure thing is that toes will be tapping and hips a’shaking.
Free entry with a flyer, £4 after midnight.
