Love Fashion: Manchester is set to transform the heart of the city in a celebration of new and independent design, as part of British Vogue’s Fashion’s Night Out on Thursday 10th October.
As the biggest name in Fashion takes over the city for one night only, the Love Fashion: Manchester showcase, hosted in association with The Fashion Network, will represent the very best of new and upcoming designers and brands, fashion graduates, independents, vintage and online boutiques.
The showcase will take place from 11am in the centre of the citywide event at Exchange Square, amongst a hub of activity that will include scheduled catwalk shows with models by Boss, and exclusive previews of the latest collections by both new and established designers and brands including:
AKA: Manchester- born punk inspired streetwear label Also Known As is a label to showcase your individuality and freedom to be; Clothing with a difference to inspire your ALTER EGO.
Andrea Zapp is a Manchester-based textile and digital media artist whose world-renowned photography forms the basis of her first 22-piece luxury fashion collection.
Fatz Kassim – a couture jewellery designer, working with vintage and religious components to create beautiful bespoke, contemporary pieces.
The Gathering Goddess – carefully selects fashion forward vintage garments from every decade of the 20th century that can be worn in a modern context.
Kuji Shop – Independent online boutique showcasing new and emerging fashion and accessory designers.
Zaynep Kartal offers high-end, bespoke eveningwear and luxury womenswear. She will launch her debut collection of 26 beautiful dresses at Vogue’s fashion’s night out.
There will also be the opportunity to preview the next ‘big thing’ as exhibitions of work created by current fashion students atManchester Metropolitan University and Salford University will be on display throughout the day.
Visitors to the pavilion, created especially for the occasion, will be able to sip on cocktails provided by The Blue Pig Bar, and DJ’s and bands including gypsy punk outfit Brouhaha, will keep the fashion-loving crowd dancing in to the evening.

Love Fashion: Manchester will be situated in Exchange Square on Thursday October 10th as part of Vogue Fashion’s Night Out, Manchester.
