Meat, booze and Adam Richman are amongst our favourite things – so when we heard about Meat Lust’s food and booze bus tour which combines all three we were on-board.
Sauce and the City is a 10-day mouth-watering food and booze tour across the city of Manchester brought to you by tasty sauce makers, Meat Lust.
Set to start on Thursday 20th July at B.eat Street on Deansgate, the event will see Meat Lust team up with its favourite food spots from around the city to create exclusive mini dishes using the Meat Lust sauces. Some of the culinary giants set to be involved include: Crazy Pedro’s Part-Time Pizza Parlour, The Hip Hop Chip Shop, Sugar Rays and Northern Soul Grilled Cheese.
To ensure the bus is well-oiled in the sweltering July heat, Meat Lust has also teamed up with some of its favourite breweries: Shindigger Brewery, Tickety Brew and BrewDog to keep guests refreshed as they move from one venue to another. If that’s not enough – guests will also be treated to a soundtrack of up and coming artists from around the city, including tasty tunes from Stillia, Kevill and Spring King.
There’ll be food on-board too. Spinningfield’s very own Beastro has developed a unique, one-off menu, which will be prepared on the custom-fitted Primo grill on the top deck. Like Meat Lust, Beastro’s meaty credentials come from the butchery industry.
But where does food fanatic and Man Vs Food legend Adam Richman come in to all of this I hear you ask?
Well, Adam is Meat Lust’s new celeb ambassador and he has been spotted out and about in Manchester this week ahead of the launch getting all Meat Lusty.
